To all the members of our WVU family: In remembering the life of Bob Gibson, it is so obvious that he and his wife DJ embody so many wonderful characteristics that are worth emulating. When we think about all the different people we have met throughout our lives who have impressed us by their contributions to various causes, we know Some people take the time to help a neighbor.
Bob and DJ Gibson contributed all of the above in their efforts on behalf of West Virginia University, as well as numerous service projects and charitable causes. As a young man, the United States Army asked Bob to step forward because his country needed him during the Korean conflict and he served America with distinction. Won't you all consider honoring them both by making a donation to the Bob & DJ Gibson Scholarship Fund? Bob and DJ have worked so hard for the WVU family; to honor them would be the highest compliment .
